A month later, after his first step in the water, he realized that nothing could really happen to him so, he ask dogy to go swim. Dogy wasn't too sure to bring robot to the beach. So they did a rock, paper, sissors show! And, luckily doggy won the rock, paper, sissors show! Using rock. Knock! Knock! Knock!  

A new robot arrives...

Robot and Doggy on Christmas

Robot and Doggy are going to buy Christmas decorations. They buy a Christmas tree, tree decorations, an inflatable reindeer. They also bought a turkey with delicious things that go with it. They went back to their house and unpacked the decorations. First, they installed the Christmas tree and put all the decorations including a star on the top. After, Doggy goes to the Petshop Dyno and buys a pack of 1000 batteries for Robot. (There are batteries at Dyno, yes I know it's very weird) Robot goes to the Pet store Dyno too to buy Doggy a giant bone, It was 150 cm long. Then they both go home and prepare a meet pie, turkey and the rest of the food they bought. They called their friends to know if they wanted to come to their Christmas party. Then all their friends arrived and they celebrated Christmas with the big feast amd partied until 3am in the morning. At the end of the party, everyone was tired and went home. Doggy and Robot had to clean up. :P

The Awesome Christmas

During the winter, Dog and Robot get tons of presents from Santa Claus. They have many snowball fights, went sliding, drank hot chocolate, went to bed late, and mostly they had fun. There was no school for Dog and Robot and on Christmas Eve, they had a lovely Christmas dinner. The next morning, Dog opened his presents and got chew toy. Robot got a can of oil. They were very happy; then they went to church. They also celebrated the New Year by having a party and inviting friends. They went ice skating and fell more than once. They cooked delicious suppers. They sang Christmas songs. They drank a lot of champagne and apple cider, watched TV, and fell asleep from exhaustion. They visited the Dogs family.

First day of school in September

Doggy leaves home to go to school, 

"Good-bye robot, I am going to school." Doggy said to robot just before closing the door and leaving.

Doggy takes the school bus to go to school. He was happy to see all his friends again for this new year. As soon as Doggy left, robot was feeling very lonely, becuase Doggy was his only friend and now he was gone. Meanwhile, doggy is having a great time playing with his friends and making new ones. At the end of the day, Doggy goes back home to see robot. When he got home he could see that robot had been very lonely and very sad, in fact the garbage was full of used kleanexs. Doggy felt sorry for robot so, he decided to bring robot to school the next morning. Robot was really exited about going to school with Doggy. When Doggy and robot got off the school bus, Doggy decided to present robot to all of his friends. After he would bring robot with him to class so that robot could get an education. At the end of the day, Doggy decided to always bring robot to school with him.

  Doggie and Robot are in the living room beside the Christmas tree. It is Christmas so they open their gifts. Doggie receives a bone and Robot receives tools. Both of them receive skates from Santa Claus.They are happy and say thank you. After they received their skates they decide to go skating. Robot falls on his bum but Doggie picks him up and teaches him how to skate. Robot finally gets it and he does a spin. 

Reflection

One of the symbols that the author used was, Poppy's. He put that symbol because Poppy's represent all the people that died in World War One, to honour them and remember all that they did for us. that is what Poppy's represent for me. Another symbol that the author used was a statue, but the statue was not happy, in fact the statue was the opposite of happy, the statue was sad. The statue was a women, so I think that the author put this statue to represent all of the women who lost their husbands, and how lonely that they would have been. They must cry the self to sleep. Also the author put a picture of the statue in France that represents, Vimy ridge, but it was very well explained because if you did not know what it was then through the rest of the movie, you can still understand the story without knowing what that picture was. But maybe you would have a differn't point of view than another person that would know what that symbol meant.

This book does not have a very strong medium, because, the first picture, has a lot of meaning it represents all the people that have died for us, but if you do not understand the author is very good because he could give you an idea about what that picture might be. My symbol is a picture of a military man (I know that he is military because of his hat), who is leaving for war but before he leaves he gives his wife a hug, this represents how hard it is to leave your loved ones behind and maybe, never see them again. The author did something like this when he put the picture of a women crying, maybe it is because her husband died, we do not know but we know that the women is sad because of her husband, we know this because, the pictures after show the military men, and that really tells you we'll maybe one of those men is that girls husband before he died and she is having a flashback. Or maybe that is him and she is crying because she is scared that he is going to die.

Vimy-ridge

One of the symbols was some poppies popping out of the ground I think that the author putted the poppies because it makes us remember the dead soldiers and them that sycrfised there life's. Saw some tombs of dead soldiers I think the author putted the tombs of soldiers to remember that they were brave and that it is becasue of them that we are still alive or that the world still existes.

I think that the message is the soldiers didn't all wanted to go to war some of them didn't accept it but they got used to it and some of them are dead becasue of the war but what they have in memory is I saved my family and I helped people survived.

I would maybe of putted a photo of each soldier who participated at the war and who died what happened for them to die.

I think that the war shouldn't of started the person who started the war shouldn't of started it because of that person guys died families got seperated I don't like the idea of started a war only because one men got killed they could of putted the person in prison or soemthing but not starting a war.

World War One where soldiers fought

This video makes us feel sad for the soldiers who died. Those soldier risked their life to try to end the war. We should remember them every year on the eleventh of November. 

The person who made this movie put a sign of sadness. When the women has her hand on her chin with a sad face expression, she is reflecting maybe to people who she have lost or thinking about the soldiers of the Canadian army who had fought in the World War One in the years 1914 to 1918 and have lost their lives. 

The music at the bigening  showed sadness and remembering. The sound with the violons and the instrument made it feel real for us to remember about those who fought for us.

World War 1 short film response

I didn't quite get the video, I understood that it's very sad and we remember all the soldiers who died by fighting. But I would've liked if the video would've had some talking in it, it would be clearer. The author chose some good things and examples to show how it was back then.

I found it very sad, especially when I saw the sad looking lady. It touched me a lot, because I could just imagine when the men and woman died in the war and how their families would feel when they got the news. It's a symbol of how sad others were and it gives us an example of what war does to the people.

The symbols were for me were tombstone because it's something that will stay in are minds for ever.

The other was the poppys because the poppys grow on the cemetery where the soliders had been seed under ground. And the last one would be the soliders because a lot of men and women wasn't to war and die for there own counties and to give right and freedom. 

 I think the message of that video was always remember the men and women on Nov.11 at 11:00 the die for they courtiers and die for people to have freedoms and right. Without them we would had maybe been last. So I say on Nov.11 we HAVE to remember about the soliders that die for our counties.

And the media would be that I say the author really showed well the message of this video. He used syombols that would touch a lot. By the music and the six and also by the pictures.

Our brave Canadians

One of the symbols he used was the poppy, the poppy is a red flower that is am odour for our Canadians that fought for the good. The author choose the poppy cause first its a symbol for are Canadian soldiers and the poppy grew at the place that the Canadian soldiers died 

(Flanders field) this was the place that the soldiers died after a while the poppy's grew

        The reflection of when I see a poppy is that this soldiers are very brave, to risk their live for our nation, you have to be brave and courageous. When it's November 11, 11:00 I would like that most of the people in Canada take two minutes of silents

He used the poppies that grew on Flanders Field. He used the telegraphs, which represented death, the tombs of the dead people who fighted, the Vimy-Ridge building who now honoures the dead, the mother sad of someone's death, the soldier leaving his body behind and walking towards a better place.

I think the message is to honour the people we lost, since they fighted for our rights, and for reasons. We have no right of judging them because of the decisions they made, since we weren't there fighting for our lives. They protected our country, a thing that we, nowadays, we wouldn't do.

I think this is one of the best ways to show a message. Put images, words, feelings. The mother crying over her lost ones, the telegraph representing death or disappearance, the tombstones of the ones we loved. They make us think about what they have no common, and we immediately think death, because of the telegraph, the mother and the tombstones. Then we see bombs, and we think war. The author of that video doesn't say a word, but we understand by watching the video.

I would use the poppies. They are what we wear nowadays to remember the soldiers. They represent the battlefield, and the man who died fighting. They are what we use the most to remember them now, except the minute of silence.

The war

I think that the video showed a lot of what they would do over there and what could or happened during the war. I think he used a lot of symbols to make us remember the people that went to war, the symbol that represents this is mostly the poppy. The author showed us the name of some people who died in the war and he had put images to show us what they would do to hide from the enemies and where thay would hide.

I liked this video because it made us think about all the people who died for us and to make people's life better. If I would be the author my symbol would be a symbol that represants peace because the soldier fought for us to live in peace so I would have put a peace symbol.

I think that one of the symbol that was used are the statues.i think that he put this in is because he wants us to know that the people that fought in the war fought for us and themselves and they died just to protect canada.the symbol meant a lot to me because I respect all the men and women that fought in the wars.Another symbol is the flower that we saw and this represents all the red flowers that were on the fields during the wars.i think that the author put that because on November 11th people put little fake ones on themselves and they were it all day and at 11 am we do a minute of silence in rememberence of the people that fought.

I think that the video was very good because we can see pictures that were the war was and when. I also think that the one that did this is very nice because he respects the people that fought and he did that video so that we understand why we do minutes of silence and what things around the world represents the people that fought for different things.

What would of felt like ...... World war 1

I felt there was a message except it wasn't very clear but I kind of understood it and I saw it like dramatic, emotional, explosions I also pictured people on the floor being stepped on while they said there few last words and as I saw that I also saw the mothers and the children of the dead men they were sobbing becuase the had died.

It's hard to lose one after the other and imagine for a second when it will be over all the soldiers family's crying because they had died. Tough moments, and when someone is aiming at them there heart pounding harder then a drum and all the stress. Life must of been tough back then for them.

World War One

I am more of a person that listen to learn than seeing but still. He used a symbol that is very common. It was the poppy. The poppy is the flower that grew in the fields where men where put when they dieded at war. It represents the people that where brave and fought for our country. I think it was not good to go at war but at least they did for freedom and not for fun to destroy country's(good guys). They also fought for protection against other country's that would want to go at war.

I think the message is that it is hard to fight and people that fight is to get our country safe. I also think it is about to remember the people that went to war just for our country and not just stay home for nothing and get our country destroyed. My symbol would be a cross because it represents your country and religion. I would also put that symbol cause that is what we put on top of people when they die.

     One of the symbols the author used was the Poppy. The Poppy is a red flower that grew on the battlefield and in the cemetery. The author chose it because it relates to the people who died in the war because it grew in cemeteries. Each time I see a Poppy it makes me think of the people who died for peace and to protect us. Some of my friends have fathers that are in the army and they wear their Poppy each year. It always make me think of how they would've felt when their parent died.

     

     I think that the media was good because we could see the symbols and if it was in a text it would be okay but describing the symbols would've been like too long and the reader would get bored. With pictures we can really see how the people felt and that they were really courageous.

The symbol I think stood out the most was like the light that shot up in the sky which I guess a flare.When it shot up, it was like the last bit of light fading away, like if the last bit of hope was disappearing far away in the sky.

Another symbol was when we saw the man walking away from a ghost which I guess was his friend that died in the battle?It is like if he left him behind or something else I realized is that at first we see one man but when he walks away we see both of them, so when we saw one, it meant that they were really close friends because they made one. The WW1 Movie-

I liked this movie because the author used a lot of interesting effects. When it showed the poppys growing it showed an effect of peace. Also the slow motion made us feel as if it were happening. Sad music made me feel bad for all the soldiers (not that I didn't before), because of this effect people will feel sad and start to care more for the poor Canadian soldiers that died in the Battle of Vimy ridge. Mid-way through the movie I noticed the effect of sudden change in tempo. It was very sad and violins were playing then suddenly, it all stops and you here missiles and guns. This effect made me feel surprise and helped me pay more attention. 

I am sad learning about this topic because my uncle was a general and he died in the war when I was 4 years old.

Ww1 video is ...

I find it was not that clear because my style of learning is listening to someone talk so only images were not tha clear .... The symbols he used were tombstones, when I see tombstones I can be just any body who got killed or died of natural causes but war tombstones I know they fought to keep us safe , then war sounds was just normal and did not affect me emotionally ..

   The message was , I think, to remember and not forget our Hero's who fought for us to live free . But some dictatored country's did not understand freedom . 

   I would have used tombstones too because it affects people emotionally and maybe the Canadian flag because it is to represent people in our family's who died to make the rest of the world free!

Halloween

Yesterday I was dressed as a skunk, I had a lot of fun putting my make up on and then me and my step sister went trick or treating, we picked up a lot of candy and yes I was raining but at least I was not to hot, I was happy it was raining because people would tell us we were brave and a girl almost gave us all. I was also very happy because this year almost all the candies I had were my favourites...

Hallowe'en

Yesterday the party at school was fun, and i was dressed as a fiffty's waitress, yesterday I went trick or treating with a friend and it was raining so hard I was soaked. But good thing I put on lots of layers under my dress. But at the end of trick or treating, my bag was full, but unfortunately I had throw out anything that was in a box because they were wet and soggy. When I got home, I sort my candy in all the catagories and had hot chocolate. The dance last Friday was also fun. There were costume contests, and games, and a bake sale. I baked these little Frankenstein Rice Krispie treats. When I went rick or treating, we went it at least 30 houses. It was so much fun.

I didn't when to the Halloween dance but I was there for the Halloween party it was so fun and for the night it was a bit fun but it was raining a lot but I got a lot of cnadies.

Hallowe'en

Yesterday we had a party at school it was so fun we ate popcorn, chips, Ian's mom cupcake. We played game like limbo, who is the vampire, contest, the thing that I didn't like is that it raind during Hallowe'en :( but the goo thing is that my step father went to buy some candy so we could eat some:)

6BB HALLOWEEN PARTY!!!

In our class in the afternoon we had a party like every other class. What made our party unique is that we had a big disco mith MY music! It was really fun and we did crazy thing and we played silly games!!!

First game we played was my table, Table 3 game. It was a completion kind of like a fashion show!!!

First theme was most creative costume then it was the scariest one and then the best costume.nthe winners were... Izzy, SarahG,Thomas-Alexandre!!! then we played limbo while the djay ( me) were playing music everyone was singing and dancing!!! It was a Halloween Bash!!!

TRICK OR TREAT!!!

After I hopped off the bus with my brother Gabriel my other brother Vincent then my sister Léa.

We begged our parent to have supper and get ready straight afterwards. We ate just a little becuase we were going to be later feasting our candy!!! We we quickly ate supper put our costumes on and started trick or treating. We passed through out our neighbourhood once then we came back home and changed our costumes and passed the same houses again and trolled a few people!!!

Halloween night

Yesterday on October 31st, it was the famous spooky day of Halloween. Me and my friends arrange are self and all went at Michael's house for Halloween. We were nine. We were all cold and wet outside but we still got lots of candies. We played ping pong, Xbox and after we passed Halloween and we had lots of candies, we trade them and played games with them. 

We took the bus to go at Michael's house and we had fun. We left around 9:00 p.m. We were waiting for that moment all day. 

The Halloween party at school was fun too. Everybody bring food and treats. We played games and we did contests. We played limbo, dance contest, the vampire game, the most scary costume contest,  the most original costume contest and the best costume contest. 

I think everybody in the class had great time and all the costumes were super. I am anxious before the next Halloween.

What I did on Hallowe'en

On Halloween I went trick o treated even if it was raining we were about 11 kids and 8 parents walking down the streets in the rain to get candy. We also did a party in the class it was fun we played games and we dance played games and of course we ate candy and other treats like that. I went to the Halloween dance opn October 25 it amusing there was a lot of people and a lot of food, there was games and you could dance take air it was really fun.

This year was the best Hallowe'en ever.

Halloween

Yesterday, we had the Halloween party. We ate, played games, listened to music, danced. I really liked it, we had fun with our friends.

The Mascarade was awesome but really not fun at the same time. Since it was raining, the people who were supposed to give the candy weren't there, so we didn't have a lot of candy. I saw someone from D.D.O so that was fun and we went in the haunted house. Three girls were in front of us and they kept screaming so we knew where the monsters were. I lost my bag of candy, but I was lucky since I didn't have anything in it yet and I used my sisters bag. We saw mascots and monsters, people screaming at us for fun since they were paid. It wasn't worth going for the candy, but for the entertainment it was fun. Then, we passed in Charlesbourg since we didn't have a lot of candy. Now, we have half a bag, which isn't a lot. After, we lost my step sister. She wasn't with us, she passed Halloween with friends, but we were supposed to go and get her when we were done. My parents had passed her a cell phone so we could call her, but she didn't answer. We went looking at her friends house but she wasn't there, so we went back looking in the streets. Half an hour later, we found her. I really liked my Halloween.    J.H

Worst Hallowe'en evening

I went collecting candy with my friends. In the rain, with my umbrella. My costume, which was a dress - a long dress that touched the floor, was all wet when I walked. When I went up some steps, I had to lift my dress to not trip over it and fall. I had my bag and umbrella in my hands, so I had trouble doing that. Lifting my dress was a problem, it wetted my pants. I arrived home, soaked, even my 3 pairs of socks. PS.- MY BAG WAS REALLY HEAVY, my arms hurted, and we walked for 2 hours

Hallowe'en

Yesterday me,Alex,Raphael,Jeremy,Thomas Alexandre,Dylan,Killian and Raphael's brother went to michaels house. Over there we played hide and seek and it was really funny because one time Michael was hiding behind the tv and Jeremy and Alex were looking right on him but they didn't see him. We also played bo2 it was me,Jeremy and Michael all against each other in a quick scoping sniper game and I won by like 10 points of difference. Christian made us hotdogs and a lot of them too with Pepsi and sevenup it was really good. After that we were all waiting for Jordan to come but he didn't show up so we went to pass hallowe'en without him. When we came back to the house we all put the candy on the floor. I had the less but it was weird because we all went to the same house and I got less than everyone. Once we went to a house and a guy came from nowhere and started taking photos of us so after that when we were coming back to Michaels house and we were walking in the road the guy took photos of us so after that we all started running away. At Michaels house we played a game that there was candy on the floor and a guy counted one two three and a word and then he needed to not see us and when we had a candy we needed to go back upstairs without getting seen and one time I got it and it was the bag of Doritos that I got from the floor. This year hollowe'en was really fun thanks to Michael.

NOTHING STOPS ME FROM TRICKOTREATING!

Last Halloween night me and my brother went trick'o'treating at Beauport where my cousin lives. We were sad because it was raining and we were stuck in traffic getting there. When we had arrived we ate a sandwich and got our costumes on with raincoats, I couldn't tell the difference. Anyways, we went running from house to house getting candy from people. It took us 30mins to get a full bag of candy and about 10 bags of chips, those were really popular! My brother described us as "Candy Ninjas"! He is 13 and I kept telling him he was too old for trick or treating, but he wouldn't believe me :/

Halloween

My Halloween was kind of boring because I did not gate a lot of candy but on the plus side I got to spend a lot of quality time of Halloween with my familly. For the last time of my life . But I would have liked to spend it with my friends and it to not rain

My Halloween experience

This year I went to pass Halloween with two of my friends, Laurence and Nabie. We had lots of fun passing Halloween together, talking at the same time and collecting lots of candy. I was dressed as a slice of bacon, and my friend Laurence was the egg, we were the perfect breakfast duo. Nabie was dressed as a doll, she was really pretty. At the end we were all wet, but it was worth it since we had lots and lots of candy.

Like many of you probably know, it was raining for Halloween, but even if it rained, I managed to get as many candy as last year, it might of took way longer because of the rain and the puddles, but remember these words " nothing can stop an eleven year old from getting their suger dose each year"...

When I arrived at home with my friend Charlotte Houde we ate supper and after we went trick or treating. We started at 6:15 and we arrived home at 8:15, we were all wet. After we took all our candies and put it on the table to see who had the most.

Hallowe'en Night

     This Halloween I was supposed to go trick or treating with friends. Finally we didn't go because it was raining so much we could take a shower outside. My mom went out to buy candy but she exaggerated a little because we had chocolates,caramels,lollipops,Skittles,Crickers and Gummy Bears. Through all the evening only one person came to our house and we ended up eating the candy and keeping it for the family and our friends. We still had a great time eating candy and watching TV instead of trick or treating in the rain! :) -Myriam

Last night at around 7:35 I went out trick or treating like my friend Etienne says when it's getting late people are tired of giving candy to kids and they just dump all of it in the bags so that why I got so much candy ^_^
