Even though events never turn out the way he wants it to, he always takes the situations in a good way. He always tell him self that things will be better in the future.
On page fifteen, the author uses a kind of humour. When Greg is little and takes out the batteries of the controller, so his mom can't change the channels. The author uses a lot of sound efects like on page seventy five when Greg cracks his fingers and you see a little KKRACK! In the middle of the image. Facial expresion was expressed too when a girl named Baylee Antony on page 58, was mad because she got paired up with Gregory.
You could see the characters were stressed, when the author draws water coming out of their faces. You could see too the look they had on their faces. Like on page 60 when Greg was scared of Ruby Bird, so he let her pass to drink water. Thinking he could get hurt not letting her drink. Because, bad things always happen to Greg.
Just like Greg's life, bad things happen. You always need to be prepared of how different situations could lead you to. Just act normal, who cares if your not cool or you are not good at things. Just like me, Greg's plans don't always appear the way he wanted to. But sometimes, it leads to a good thing.
Greg rather likes sleeping than doing sports or activities. As soon as he's done what his dad asked him to do, he jumps right back into bed. My idea of Gregory is that he is lazy, has bad luck and he is clumsy. His life, I was reading, was very funny. The way the author express's his humour. The things that happens to Greg, are so funny. That is what makes me read that series of book.
